Born in Shizuoka Prefecture. Graduated from the Department of Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts.
As a costume artist, her work has been shown in a wide range of settings, including advertising, theater, dance, ballet, film and television.
She was in charge of the set costumes for the NHK Educational TV program "Nihongo de Asobo."
She has designed costumes for many stage productions, including the kabuki production "Noda's version of Togitatsu no Utare" and "Under the Forest of Cherry Blossoms in Full Bloom," as well as the contemporary plays "The Character," "Ashiato Hime," and "Under the Forest of Fake Cherry Blossoms in Full Bloom," all written and directed by Hideki Noda.
Responsible for costumes for dance performances of "Circus" at the New National Theatre and "Alice in Wonderland" at the same time.
Currently performing "LIVE BONE", "WONDER WATER", "Humanoid LADY", "FLY, FLY, FLY", "Rinne", and "Piece to Peace".
Participated in the Oku-Noto Triennale 2017, Echigo-Tsumari Art Festival 2018, and Setouchi Triennale 2019.
