Due to the nature of brass, it may darken or develop a blue-green rust called verdigris. There is a risk that the darkening or rust may transfer to the items placed inside. The surface of the brass will oxidize with use and aging, causing the color and texture to change.
If you close the lid while the playing cards or items inside are leaning towards the opening and closing side of the lid, the lid may get caught and the paper may get bent or damaged. Please move the playing cards or items to the hinge side before closing the lid.
